As our community continues to feel the loss of our dear friend and minister, Rev. Larry, we send our blessings and prayers to his wife, Paula Schneider .
Here is an excerpt from a letter she sent out to friends.
"It is with profound, inexpressible sorrow that I share with you the sudden, unexpected passing of my husband and best friend, Larry Schneider. He left us for higher realms Sunday morning, January 8, 2023, shortly before noon. He appeared to be well until Saturday, the 7th, when he began to experience some symptoms that we felt might be related to a muscle relaxant he had taken for what he believed was a strained back muscle. By Sunday morning, his condition had deteriorated considerably and he passed away en route to a local hospital.
Larry touched so many lives during his Unity ministry and prior years! I've already heard from many of you to tell me how important he was to you. While he knew some of this, he would always say that his work here was part of his mission--to transform spiritual consciousness. He consistently refused to take credit for the many wisdoms he shared. He would tell me, "I'm just doing what I was sent here to do."
We will have a Celebration of Larry's Life at some date in the future, and this will be widely announced. It will be via Zoom or a similar format."

As a Regular and much loved Sunday Speaker at Unity of Santa Rosa below is the bio we always shared when Larry spoke.
Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, and raised in the beautiful Gulf Coast community of Clearwater, Florida, Rev. Larry Schneider sees his life as a magical journey that has led him to many opportunities. He served as an Air Force medic, emergency medical technician, university faculty, public health program administrator, and Unity minister. Larry's journey for a Doctorate came to an unexpected end when he discovered something far more valuable than any degree--his wife, Paula. Larry and Paula left graduate studies and moved to Tallahassee, Florida where Paula introduced Larry to Unity.
Larry believes that every person comes into this life with a divine mission. His is: "to awaken, remember, and transform spiritual consciousness in himself and others." Larry's fellow ministers and Truth Students describe him as delightful, mystical, fun-filled, caring and light-hearted. Larry's greatest joys come when he helps others discover their true spiritual mission and when he joins in co-creating a spiritual community where everyone is productive, valued, and supported.
